In addition to this, I would also argue that socialized child care is essential for a society to overcome it’s biases. We have ample evidence that early-life contact with people outside their immediate community reduces bigotry later in life.

The current structure of for-profit childcare groups kids into what is essentially a class based stratification, where you pay more for the “good” childcare, and I firmly believe this only breeds bias.
