        I obviously don’t disagree. I don’t think it’s weird to report on peaceful protests that are undemocratically banned; I think it’s weird to separately report on the police doing normal police shit that happens when someone gets arrested.

        “84 year old priest has house searched by police” is newsworthy if the priest didn’t do anything illegal. It’s not newsworthy if they did.

        “Some people did something illegal which should not be illegal” is newsworthy, but that’s not the content of the article.

        It’s reporting that’s just trying to play on the emotions of the readers.

        Did you not expect this kind of thing to happen? Do you think expecting it means you respect the people doing it?

        Or do you not think about any of this and just respond rudely and stupidly because you don’t like that this happened and think that I’m not expressing enough disapproval for your tastes?

  She’s been arrested over 30 times, and it’s getting loads of attention. This is what protestors want isn’t it? The worst thing would be to be ignored.
