otacon239@lemmy.world 15 hours agoYep. About 19950 of those games are junk you wouldn’t want to play and the other 50 are usually poorly ported and you have to dig through the list for hours to find them.
You’re better off getting one that has no preloaded games and pirating.

Getting a handheld that runs something that lets you swap the emulator/software and run your own ROM’s would be best, cuz then you’re the ome in control. “Ah but then theres the whole setup!” realistically you set things up once and thats it, only mess with it in future if you want to change anything
