  It shouldn’t be that surprising that a guy who made a career peddling hate would become a focal point for people sick of that shit. The people yearn to shoot more racists in the neck. The meme cycle will subside shortly and the Kirk memes will diminish until next year (or until someone shoots another racist.)

      I would say that its a reflection of the sickness of the times but humans have always had a lust for violence. In any case we are headed in a direction where peace becomes harder and harder to stick to.
