luciferofastora@feddit.org 3 days agoCheck your instance’s instance list to see what you are and aren’t linked with. For lemmy instances, it’s usually domain/instances, such as slrpnk.net/instances for yours.

Lemmy.World and my home instance Discuss.Online both federate with fed.brid.gy, but I’ve never once seen any content from there and from everything that I read it seems that federation is more or less irrelevant here - necessary but nowhere close to sufficient to make the interconnection happen.
