Benign@fedia.io 4 days agoMy dad did 'datafag' some 50 years ago, at least I think they called it that. It was the era of 'hullkort' (punchcards).
Also I think it should be sluttdatafag all in one word. I seem to remember some old folks referring to graduate degrees as sluttfag. I dont think anyone has ever put 'data' in the middle there though. Sounds like AI hallucination.

With regards to “sluttfag”, I couldn’t find anything real, but Google’s AI summary says “Et sluttfag er et fag på videregående skole som blir avsluttet med en standpunktkarakter det gjeldende skoleåret” - so it’s the final year of a subject that gives you a grade on your high-school diploma… according to a language model :l
