That’s not so hard to remember! In France, turkey is called “dinde,” derived from “d’Inde” (“of India”), which is much farther east than Türkiye. So just remember that in France, Türkiye = India.

It’ll definitely come in handy for driving. Every time I try to drive to Turkey I end up in Barcelona
