  TBH, I think the app looks ugly and the little jokes cycling during patching are obnoxious… Also, the settings don’t seem to actually work properly on YT? It autoplays in the home screen even when that’s disabled, for example.

  IDK, I’ll explore this a little more when I get some more time.

  I do wonder what shit ass rogue developer you’re referring to o.0 I haven’t kept up with any ReVanced-related drama or anything.

    I dont utilize any of the patcher tools myself anymore because I deleted my Google account long ago, so I only keep up for friends who aren’t as down the rabbit hole as I am privacy wise.

    I can however share the reddit thread that I originally saw when people started pushing Morphe over Revanced

    The tl;dr is a bunch of the developers got upset that the maintainer acted like a shitty manager more than a FOSS project lead dev.

      On the thread: sheesh at least it’s not some Nazi or other extreme thing… The dev is just kind of an asshole, it seems. To be honest, I’ve heard of enough open-source drama to expect some sort of power-tripping or entitled dev somewhere in every project.
