Idk, it’s quite a regular trope in discussions on travelling that USian tourists don’t eat local cuisine and instead go to McD because they know what they’re getting.

Maybe in Europe, idk I’ve never been there, but the only people I see who talk about “craving maccas” certainly aren’t American.
