Comment on Day 775 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

I think having that deadline will be a fun challenge, and I’m considering transferring them all to Pokemon Home (I’m not sure what all that will require though so it’s more of a “that would be a fun thing to do” scenario).

As someone who’s trying to migrate everything to home there’s a decent amount of options out there. From the screenshots, it looks like you’re playing off an emulator, so you would first need a way to migrate your save file or files to the original hardware however possible. Once it’s on original hardware, simply use Pokemon Bank and then you can transfer to Pokemon Home.

The past few years I’ve played through the rom hacks of Yellow (Yellow Legacy) and Crystal (Crystal Legacy). This past month I migrated everything from those games to Ultra Moon. Once there, into bank and finally into home. So I can absolutely say that it’s very possible, but requires a few things:

•A modded 3DS with the checkpoint app installed •If possible a second 3DS that isn’t modded (to mitigate any issues. 100% optional, but definitely a proceed at your own risk deal) •The ability to migrate your saves between devices if playing on non native hardware •Access to something like PKSM to validate your Pokemon (e.g. Yellow and Crystal legacy allow you to “catch em all.” Version exclusive Pokemon may be blocked or flagged when migrating. You have the option to modify when and where one was caught, if that’s important to you or whoever is reading this. How “legal” that is, may be considered a gray area for most people but the Pokemon company probably has something in place to detect if a Weedle is caught in Yellow). •Optional but may keep things cleaner: importing your Pokemon into either a gen 6 or 7 cartridge

Normal migration can be done with the above information. I’ll update my reply with links to a few helpful tools in a bit that I have used or stumbled upon shortly.
