Comment on Day 775 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

I think having that deadline will be a fun challenge, and I’m considering transferring them all to Pokemon Home (I’m not sure what all that will require though so it’s more of a “that would be a fun thing to do” scenario).
As someone who’s trying to migrate everything to home there’s a decent amount of options out there. From the screenshots, it looks like you’re playing off an emulator, so you would first need a way to migrate your save file or files to the original hardware however possible. Once it’s on original hardware, simply use Pokemon Bank and then you can transfer to Pokemon Home.
The past few years I’ve played through the rom hacks of Yellow (Yellow Legacy) and Crystal (Crystal Legacy). This past month I migrated everything from those games to Ultra Moon. Once there, into bank and finally into home. So I can absolutely say that it’s very possible, but requires a few things:
•A modded 3DS with the checkpoint app installed •If possible a second 3DS that isn’t modded (to mitigate any issues. 100% optional, but definitely a proceed at your own risk deal) •The ability to migrate your saves between devices if playing on non native hardware •Access to something like PKSM to validate your Pokemon (e.g. Yellow and Crystal legacy allow you to “catch em all.” Version exclusive Pokemon may be blocked or flagged when migrating. You have the option to modify when and where one was caught, if that’s important to you or whoever is reading this. How “legal” that is, may be considered a gray area for most people but the Pokemon company probably has something in place to detect if a Weedle is caught in Yellow). •Optional but may keep things cleaner: importing your Pokemon into either a gen 6 or 7 cartridge
Normal migration can be done with the above information. I’ll update my reply with links to a few helpful tools in a bit that I have used or stumbled upon shortly.

I do actually have native hardware! Along with everything setup to transfer it. I meant to talk about it in the post but forgot, but I actually had transferred my save off my 3DS and played it in an emulator to get the screenshots until I find a better way to get ahold of them because ftp on CachyOS seems to be really difficult to keep a stable connection for me

Oh, nice! That will definitely be doable then. I was able to get ftp to work once, but that was with Bazzite. I’ve mainly been moving the micro SD card instead of trying to resolve the ftp issue lol.
In that case the simplest path for you would be to take your saves, put the ones you want to move into PK Vault (haven’t had luck with OpenHome on Linux) and send them to either a gen 6 or gen 7 save. PK Vault will give you a heads up if there’s any potential issues before migrating. Then from there, to the 3DS > Bank > Home

FTP for me will work for like 5 minutes and then decide “nope. We’re not doing this” and crap out on me lol. I’d move the micro SD Card but I have the battery and stuff duck taped in because the back plate went missing and started flaking apart (N3DSXL Model).
I’ll look into Open Home, I was using Pkhex to trade them into ORAS Before, but Pkhex is finicky to find saves with so OpenHome might be a better option

Ah, yeah. Last I tried ftp I got it to connect but any subsequent attempts it would act like it wasn’t available. I modded a N2DSXL so the Micro SD isn’t as cumbersome to get to. The system is a massive fingerprint magnet though lol.
That back plate can be a pain to deal with if it breaks or goes missing. Definitely don’t blame wanting to not mess with that. (It’s why I opted to not mod my N3DSXL). May be worth getting a replacement from a donor system or an aftermarket replacement down the road.
Hopefully you have better luck with OpenHome than I did. The appimage would consistently crash for me on Bazzite (was able to get it working on an old MacBook I have laying around, but I’m not going to add another device just to use it lol); I’d think CachyOS would have an easier time with it, which I think there’s multiple ways to install it there in comparison if I remember right
