bedwyr@piefed.ca 1 week agoI think these companies are themselves in on the resell racket. Their connected bots buy them instantly when they come available, and they get a cut out of higher sale prices. At least with livenation, john oliver did a thing about it on his show.

They absolutely are because they own the resale market too and get a cut of all those sales. They don’t have to actually do the scalping themselves, just not get in the way.
