If you’re politically active you can get an invite from one of your comrades. If that’s not something you can do, you probably don’t need it.
+1 for riseup though, they’re sound and have used their email service for years. disroot is a good alternative that is open to public registration.

I guess it depends on the types of activists you know. I’d give you an invite myself but I think invites are tied to the inviter so I can’t really do so without linking my riseup and my lemmy.

I will check to see if I have any invites left.
Otherwise, I joined by writing to them directly and requesting access and proving it was beneficial to me

I don’t need em. I got an account. but it was admitted during a spam wave and will probably never be given invite codes.
