In Australia, I would definitely say Victoria is the best state. I’m from Melbourne though, so I’m a bit biased. Tasmania is also really neat as well. I haven’t visited any of the others, but realistically it’s hard to find the “worst” state in Australia, since they are mostly just big coastal cities with a lot of desert inland. The only exception is the Australian Capital Territory, which is just Canberra and the surrounding area, so unless you really like Canberra there is not much to do (none of the national parks, sightseeing, etc. that Australia is known for)
