as a general rule of thumb i say give people 3 chances and after that there’s no point in continuing unless you REALLY think they’re in good faith and you’re REALLY certain you’re not possibly getting things wrong.

Maybe they’re not in a good headspace, maybe they’re a shithead, maybe i’m in a bad headspace; who knows.
The only case where either of us benefits from spending an hour getting irate is if they’re a shithead troll who gets off on making others upset.
