Comment on Blood Moon partial lunar eclipse: How and when to see it in UK skies

Can anyone pinpoint when headlines saying describing every lunar event “blood moon”, “harvest moon”, etc. It feels like month there’s a headline that’s like “Chance to catch once in a lifetime retrograde lavender blowout St Dwayne moon this Sursday afternoon”.

A lunar eclipse ("Blood moon") is the one that is actually a noticeable thing. The moon falls into the earth’s shadow and so is only lit up by the light that passes through earth’s atmosphere. This means it takes on the colour of the sun at sunset rather than the sun at midday.
