MsPenguinette@lemmy.world 1 week agoTheir stock price going down is definitely enough to at least make it to trial. Maybe a jury or judge might determine that it dint actually cause damage overall, but it’d be silly to claim that there isn’t any damage claim whatsoever

If stocks drop because information that hypes people up for your product comes out it’s worse than crypto and everyone is being scammed.
The reason the stock is dropping is because they said you’ll get a product by x, and the product isn’t going to be ready. If you don’t make deadlines people think you are incompetent. People don’t like to invest in incompetent companies.
