Comment on How IMDB Users Rate Season 4 of SNW
ValueSubtracted@startrek.website 2 weeks agoHonestly, I think “A Case of Chiaroscuro” deserves another look. If you disregard the B&W “gimmick” (which I think served the story quite well, but YMMV), I think the A- and B-stories are good, classical Trek.
A little TOS-y in some respects, but I don’t consider that a knock against.

In general, I think this season has felt the most like TOS like any of them. A lot of people forget how campy the original series was, and if anything, they definitely seem to be embracing it fully here, for better or worse. Episodes 1 and 4 in particular would have fit in very well in TOS.
