If you feel the urge to play to certain videogames and can’t resist you are probably addicted to these.

Also, Steam directly supports and funds a plethora of open source tools that benefit everyone.

So do other evil corporations like microsoft and google. They do more damage than good.

You’re right about 99.99+% of cases. And I’m not defending Valve as some altruistic company. But lumping in Valve with the likes of Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia, Monsanto, Elon Musk, etc, simply on the amount of money they make is desingenous at best, but frankly is insane.

Valve ceo owns more megayachts than bezos or elon musk and his company promotes gambling to kids and sell you games under DRMs.

They are just as bad
