Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 weeks agoNice devices won’t burn any plastic or other material, but you’re right—almost all carts are not nice carts. Ideally the kanthal won’t heat up enough to burn anything, or vaporize anything other than the viscous liquid inside. Difficult to do that with something more viscous than PG/VG solution, though! Even 100% VG, much less viscous than THC solutions, is difficult to get right.

Why I avoid anything disposables/ carts.
Divine Tribe’s v5 is where it’s at. Their heater cups are the opposite of disposable. With minimum cleaning I’ve had heating elements last six plus months. Every few sessions you just up the voltage and burn it clean and it literally turns shiny and new. I’ve only had the elements break from drops.
Though you will knock people on their ass if they’re expecting your typical pen and instead they’re pretty much getting a dab.
