I mean as someone who has worked 20 years in the service industry, I get that, but I can handle a Karen in person because I can be big, loud, and intimidating enough until they go away. Unfortunately you can’t punch someone through the phone, and that’s where my anxiety over phone calls comes from. People are so much worse to you when there’s no chance they could get punched in the mouth.
