ZeroTHM@lemmy.world 11 months agoWhat’s flawed about it? If you don’t like the deal, don’t be a dasher. No one is forced to deliver food for money. No one is being fooled about how little it pays. Y’all act like it’s some big secret that the gig isn’t great, but that’s common knowledge. If no one wanted the gig and all its drawbacks, then they wouldn’t sign up for it.

That’s fine and I agree for the most part - I delivered food for a few months a decade ago and it was absolutely miserable and I did absolutely rely on tips. I got out because it sucked.
However, you can’t complain and refuse to tip your driver if you decide to use the corrupt service, which I assume, you do?
