f4f4f4f4f4f4f4f4@sopuli.xyz 3 weeks agoI think micro-rusting does the damage here. I oiled a cheap disposable-head razor after every use and the blades were still sharp enough over a year later when the rubber/silicone flex point (hinge?) fell apart.

I use the classic double edge blades, dirt cheap and rinsing them with hot water is enough to make mine last for quite a while.
I’ve heard some ppl submerge their razors in Isopropanol to combat rust and soap buildup… Haven’t tried that yet.
