I love Alan Wake. The first one and now the second ones are some of my favorite games of all time. The first one is very story driven, The second one though is a lot more survival horror akin to Resident Evil. I’d say the Second one is worth the experience, though i do highly encourage playing the first one as it makes a lot of stuff in the second really good
