The problem is that a lot of large places don’t want to accept cash. It is easy for small places to use cash because the owner is likely running the register. When you get to mega corporations, it is easier and cheaper for them to pay the credit card fees.

You can’t track cash. Also, the proprietary internet connected payment methods mean that they can ban you from society for wrongthink.
Same thing will happen in America in the next couple of decades, and it will be used to destroy the lives of whoever the fascists deem woke/dei/trans/communist/antifa this week.

It is exceedingly difficult to track cash. It would require the cash’s serial number scanned at every transaction, which doesn’t happen.

can you be sure that who ever you paid your cash to wont deposit it on the bank? can you be sure the cash you got wasn’t freshly withdrawn at a bank by someone else?
sure it is unlikely, but if you need to rely on cash being trackable, you can’t rely on it at all
