When I was at uni one of my flatmates had speakers set up in the living room on a high book shelf in the living room. As a prank a few weeks before the Christmas we break we put an egg on top of one of them, assuming he’d take them home egg would and rotten egg would fall (we didn’t like him much at the time). He didn’t take them home for Christmas. Over the winter semester and spring we became friends with him. Egg meanwhile became forgotten.

Main summer break rolls around and everyone is packing up. Our now friend goes to get his speakers. Before anyone can say anything the egg is rolling off falling to the floor. Prank finally triggered. Everyone ready for the worst smell ever. But nothing. Over the months it had entirely dried up and had nothing inside but a little powder.
