If course they won’t listen. If the last forty years have proven anything, it’s that the Democratic Party will never in a million years choose its base over its donors.

The Democratic Party is where progressive movements go to die. DSA can get some stuff done at the local level, and that’s genuinely a good thing, but the DNC is beyond reform.

The Democratic Party is where progressive movements are captured and murdered, or at least neutered. It’s the party’s main function. That’s why they’re fine with throwing an election to Trump and fundraising from the minority for a few years, their donors reward them either way as long as they stop those meddling kids.
