I think it’s more like 5% are so bad, it’s enough to muddle over the average and make the average feel divine. I notice really good drivers almost as often and they’re a pleasure to be behind on a long drive.

It only takes one bad driver to seriously mess up traffic is the reason tbh.
You can unironically have 100 people be perfectly coordinated at driving. One person decides to just be a dick at driving and it’ll have a ripple effect where all 100 people in a row suddenly lose coordination due to having to make rapid adjustments for dick driver
