well, they were not saying the “american or israeli” thing without reason. i remember a few years ago there was an UN vote whether food should be considered a human right … and every country in the world voted in favor, except two … america and israel.
(since america is a veto power, the proposal didn’t pass)

I will say that I’m pretty sure they had 0 downvotes until they started going Tankie Mode in the discussion I mentioned, so people seem to be downvotng based on that, not so much supporting the US or Israel.
