So my cousin arrived in Sydney yesterday.
Weāve been chatting, heās pretty cool. Utterly enchanted by Australia.
What I didnāt expect was to feel a weird kind of stability from having someone Iām related to in the same country.
Itās been 25 years since I interacted with someone Iām related to.
Itās kinda nice.

yes, itās not a nice feeling to be on your own in a country
but hereās the thing, that one time I needed help I remembered I live in a society that is set up to help those who are alone and in need, and it was a great comfort
