FlyingCircus@lemmy.world 1 day agoCrazy how you think that the customer is the exploited one in a sex work situation. Loneliness doesn’t excuse contributing to a situation where someone must sell such an intimate part of their humanity to have a good life.
I feel for the lonely person, too, but I don’t excuse their bad choice to engage in prostitution.

Why is prostitution a “bad choice”? The first half of your comment leads the reader to believe you think sex workers are exploited but then slap them in the face. What do they have to excuse? People pay them for a service. Just as a cake decorator takes money from people making the bad choice to engage in marriage

I believe both parties are wrong ethnically. The sex worker for my aforementioned statement and the customer for paying for it.
