You can’t fix a systemic problem by just saying “stop being assholes”, you can fix a systemic problem by fixing the systemic issue. For example, increasing rent and lowering wages increases homelessness. Telling people to work harder doesn’t decrease homelessness, building rent-controlled housing and increasing minimum wage does.

Weird. I don’t have any issues with my food, being an asshole, or lots of other common problems people have.
because i choose not to participate in the stupid shit other people do that makes their lives miserable.
weird how that works!

Huh I guess nothing should be done to improve society then.

you improve society by improving yourself.
I choose to not be one of the 66% of americans that are overweight/obese, I choose have money rather than be in debt, and etc.
Other folks make other choices. Seen many of my friends over the years become fat indebted miserable people, and I then choose to no longer socialize with them.
Nobody forced them to eat shitty food, spend all they money on stupid crap, and then never take responsibility for their choices.
Who exactly forced my friends to make those choices for them? who forced them to say, spend $15,000 traveling per year, rather than saving it in their bank account?
