I’m telling you don’t lose hope! Former OKC folks generally see success. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that in his first year there is one guarantee, and that is on the long tail, he will be self scrutinizing above average. The possibility of change exists—it’s better than having Billy D or Scott Brooks or Terry Stotts styles.
From what I can see he has all the flaws of Billy D - having no game plans. Usually he starts every game the same way on both ends. The Detroit game we lost for instance was a change - he actually brought a game plan - it was Schroeder and Poeltl 2 man game on offense, without involving our two best players Siakam and Scottie. Does that make sense to you? And NO defensive gameplan to stop Cade. He only started going to Siakam in 2nd half when it became evident we’re gonna lose this. What kind of coaching is that!!! To not feature your best player?!
Which OKC coaches are good? The only good one is the one who’s stayed behind - Daignault. Raptors had good coaches - Nurse, Griffin, and Finch. 3 of the top 5 teams in the league were on Raptors’ coaching staff in the last 3 years. We didn’t keep anyone of them.
I’ve seen enough. Tactically he has ZERO ability. ZILCH. NADA. Let him develop players. But not run and manage an actual game.
You’d want Raptors to keep him as a coach if you’re a fan of division rivals. That’s about it.

In a first for him, Darko managed a close lead to a win.
