Kevin Can Wait. After the long running sitcom King of Queens was off the air, they tried to basically do it over again with Kevin James. Apparently the original story was he was supposed to be a single dad with a deceased wife, however they decided to scrap the single dad thing - added a wife character at the last minute. After a very mediocre season 1, someone decides to kill the wife. Leah Remini, his wife from King of Queens, suddenly appears as a “business partner” or some crap. Season 2 begins with “it’s been over a year since mom died.” No mention of what happened. She’s just dead. Leah Remini is basically the new mom. Cancelled after season 2.
