Pretty sure they run on syrups. Just buy a big container of it. If you need it to be carbonized, buy a carbonizor. No need to spend 2k on a dispensor.
Comment on I'm realizing I might drink too much soda lol

I’m the same way. I buy like 7 or 8 of the 35 packs from Costco. When I get my own place, I plan to buy a coke soda fountain like they have at restraints and sruff. I figure its cheaper in the long run, and irs probably better for the environment.

The dispenser mixes the syrup with the carbonated water.

Yes, but you can do that manually instead of spending 2k to automate it

The syrup comes in a big bag, which makes it hard to get out. Also, you gotta get the portions right for the mixing of the syrip to co2 to water.

I thought that and looked in to it. It’d take years to pay for itself (even if soda is the only thing you drink), and you also have to get a commercial ice maker and keep the ice bin on the soda fountain full, bcs none of them actually chill the soda, it gets chilled when the water is piped through the bottom of the ice bin. It’s easier and cheaper just to buy the Costco 36 packs and an extra fridge for them.
