While he did absolutely dumb shit and is wrong about the Fediverse (what many Reddit refugees fail to understand is that the Fediverse doesn’t just consist of Lemmy, mbin/kbin and piefed, but a lot more such as mastodon, misskey, pixedfed, peertube and so on), a lot of people from dbzer0 and .ml did act like asses and did more than just criticize Admiral Patrick. However he did totally overreact to criticism and both sides kept escalating.
