  The charger for my Motorola HT doesn’t have any firmware. The only ICs in it are op amps and comparators.

    The first charger I got didn’t, and I’m pretty sure it was also a fake. The second one I got can actually recondition my battery…

    There’s a whole underlying system with the impres series of batteries and Chargers to keep everything in top condition for as long as possible.

      My charger is genuine, it’s just 36 years old.
