I love JRPGS.
I always burn out on Octopath quickly. The 8 disjointed stories just don’t draw me in.

And the storylines are not that great to begin with. Plus the voice acting and the writing is on a 80s Saturday morning cartoon level of bad.
I heard compared to the Japanese writing the English localization added a ton of unnecessary flourish.
