Octopath 1+2 are a couple amazing games, the soundtracks, BP and discover and break weakness systems add some variety to the turn based combat, secret rare encounters, bosses, unlocks, etc. My all time favorites are ff7 and 8 that induces some heavy nostalgia, but if I were to pick up a turn based rpg today it would probably be an octopath or pillars of eternity game.
