Aw man, this reminds me that I have a busted PSP I need to fix. I’ve been wanting a pocket emulator for some time, and I used to have a PSP ages ago that I’d jailbroken to play SNES games lol

Alas, PSP plays SNES games pretty poorly, need a lot of frameskip. GB/NES games work great. Not so much GBA. Even the Vita struggles with GBA, to my dismay!

I never had issues with SNES game performance. I bet some emulators did better than others, or maybe some games used features that didn’t emulate efficiently like mode 7 graphics or star fox with its 3d chip.
