undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch 3 weeks agoI must be brainwashed because I also work from home but I love getting started 15-20 minutes early because I’ve never liked waiting around to work.
I think it’s carried over from my time in fast food and retail because even when I worked night and overnight shifts I couldn’t stand getting up hours beforehand knowing that in that time I’d just have to go to work afterward.

Probably, but I’ve also noticed that I hesitate to say “burnt out” anymore because the way I feel now feels beyond the way I used to use the word 5-10 years ago.

This is true too, getting older the tired I am after work, the less I want to do on the weekends
