      I really think people are just angry they can’t point their rage at the power structures that caused this

      I think you’re too disconnected from reality to understand what the people are angry about.

      they want to do it through consummerism, but the reality is you have less power there than you do politically.

      don’t know what planet you live on, but in a capitalist society money reigns supreme. “vote with your dollar” has even stronger merit today than it did 70 years ago.
