Ok, I just futzed around with the thing…
You can, apparently, bind a button to ‘Horizontal Scroll’, and what that does is make it so when that button is pressed, the mouse wheel now scrolls horizontally.
… I didn’t even know it could do that lol.
Not sure if that meets your requirements.
