Data centers are digital real estate that have little value unless there is hype for those spaces - which is why AI and data centers are being pushed so much. Data centers, the actual money maker, are the reason AI is being so aggressively pushed on us. The data center owners want to create high enough demand that digital “land” (compute) is leased at a high enough rent/return to offset the enormous cost of building a data center.
