Not trying to take any stance in your argument but you asked for one example and they gave you one(well not exactly complaining more like promoting).

You answer to that example is that they didn’t achieve much which was also the OPs original point - that they should try harder.

So from the outsiders perspective you got what you wanted and agreed with their point.
