Power corrupts. The longer they’re in power, the more power they have, and the more times they get away with abusing it, the worse it gets.

This is why we need term limits for Congress. It’s not about age, it’s about how long they stay in office. Age doesn’t corrupt, power does. We need term limits for Congress so corrupt politicians can’t stay entrenched.
