50 something guy here. Are you and your husband good? I’ve been married over 30 years, and obviously things ebb and flow. We recently tried having sex at least once a day for a solid year straight. We learned a lot about each other and found neither of us needed to masturbate.
TL;DR Why aren’t you two just fucking a lot?

Ugh, long distance/lots of travel suuuucks. Then yeah, have at it!
And everyone is different, so “normal” or “a lot” varies. Consider yourself lucky you have a partner with equally good sex drive. There are many couples in very different situations.

I do count myself lucky, I have female friends on both ends of the spectrum, with partners who don’t want enough sex and partners that want it too often
