I don’t want him to drop out. He needs to keep running

Unfortunately this seems 100% credible. Her therapist and another ex boyfriend are both corroborating the allegations. The woman even said she shares his politics. I’m not mad at her bravely coming out with this but the timing is rather suspicious. She should have spoken up a year ago, or at the very least ahead of the primary. There’s a guy we can slide over to, he’s known and vetted in the state (Troy Jackson, who’s a logger by trade), but he has about as much charisma as a grilled cheese sandwich. Also he’s almost retirement age.

eh, im more concerned by the association with schumer/gilli than I am with the timing. I suspect she was hoping he wouldnt win making it a non-issue to her.
the timing and the association with political operatives known for false sexual assault allegations just makes it all super suspect. which isnt her fault.

Troy also seems like he’s running -because- he can’t retire; how riveting.
It’s a genuinely disappointing situation that really takes the hope out of the air. I just hope there’s still enough momentum to save it all, it really seems like this election could really matter and then just… This.
