Yea i bought a ticket to something recently straight from the venue’s website recently and they had the same rule.

That’s started to become standard practice for anywhere with seating. Ticketmaster may implement it, but it isn’t the only company doing so.

It’s the case on every cinema’s website I’ve ever bought a ticket in the last decade.
