I know how ya feel. My last name is French and ya gotta make a throat clearing sound to pronouce it properly, otherwise people pronounce it “row-land”.

Ive just accepted it and pronounce it the same, otherwise it starts the same old small talk of “oh where is that from” everytime i need to say it to someone new
