yaroto98@lemmy.world 1 week agoRight? I’m still pissed off about the PS3. I owned a PS1 and a PS2. PS3 launched and before I could save up enough money, two awesome features that the PS3 launched with they pulled support for. At launch you could boot to linux and you could play PS2 games. They disabled both before I could buy one. Huge class action lawsuit if I remember correctly. But they keep pulling the same shit.

In fairness, the Linux feature was half baked. I got YellowDog running on it, but because of the goodfball CPU, you had to recompile everything to get it to run, which it did poorly.
